Falmouth-Gene Snyder Airport K62 / KK62 - Falmouth and Pendleton County's Gene Snyder airport opened in October 1983. The 4,000' runway is suitable for light twin aircraft flown by many companies who would do business in our community. Some of the links on this page are specifically for pilots while some of the links further down are related to community understanding and education for students interested in aviation.
In 2005, then Governor Ernie Fletcher said “Our airports are crucial to the future economic development in our state.” and that “Aviation forecasts predict this industry will grow significantly over the next decade, and it's important that Kentucky is ready.”
