Pendleton County Animal Control

Animal Shelter

A new Animal Control Ordinance (841.0) [PDF - 928KB] was adopted and placed in force on June 3, 2008 by the Pendleton County Fiscal Court.  A Public Hearing to discuss the ordinance was held on May 13th in the Courthouse Community Room at 7:00 PM.  The public was invited to attend.  The major change from the previous ordinance was a "Restricted Dog" section.  This section was added as a protective measure for Pendleton County citizens.  Other changes were made in order to be more helpful to county citizens.

The Pendleton County Animal Control Officers are authorized to carry out their duties through the County Animal Control Ordinance (841.0) and/or Kentucky Revised Statue 258 External Link - You are now leaving the .gov domain.
