Pendleton County Animal Shelter

Click on "Draft Animal Control Ordinance"to review. This proposed ordinance is to be adopted by the Pendleton County Fiscal Court. A Public Hearing to discuss the proposed ordinance will take place on May 13th in the Courthouse Community Room at 7:00 PM. Public is invited to attend.

The Shelter has animals for adoption (wormed and shots).  Adoption Fee - $35.00

Remember--if you own a dog, you need to purchase a Dog License.  Licenses are available at Veterinarian Offices and the Animal shelter.

The shelter is located between Griffin Industries and Rumpke on Bryan-Griffin Road.

The Pendleton County Animal Control Officers are authorized to carry out their duties through the County Animal Control Ordinance and/or Kentucky Revised Statue 258
