To build a strong foundation for our future, Pendleton County has adopted a strategic vision of concentrating efforts in the areas of overall economic development, infrastructure development, urban renewal and strategic planning. Project activities range from small business development, industrial recruitment, workforce development, industrial and commercial site marketing, emergency services infrastructure redevelopment and water and sewer line construction to urban renewal planning, civic engagement and leadership development.

Industrial Development
The Pendleton County Commonwealth Commerce Center, located just south of Falmouth on U.S. 27 includes 56 acres of available property for commercial and industrial development. The industrial park holds environmental clearance having completed a phase 1 environmental assessment and a comprehensive state approved archeological assessment.
