If you normally renew your tags in December, please do so by December 28t h, 2023. Also, 2024 car taxes do not get uploaded til after January 1, 2024, so these cannot be paid in advance.
I encourage anyone who needs to transfer a car, pay delinquency or request a handicap placard. Please do so before December 28, 2023.
The transition from the old mainframe AVIS system to the New KAVIS system will start on December 29,2023 and Monday January 1, 2024.
The Clerks office will re-open on January 2, 2024, but will not be able to complete any Auto related transactions. The dates for auto transactions will be January 16t h 2024 if all goes well. All other business, real estate, marriage license, notary and voter registration will be available. If you have any questions, please call 859-654-3380.
